The Realm Pelagic Poem by BELLO BIDEMI

Swift dash the pelagic and a down deep dive
Marvels unveils in clear crystal and life
Of shades light and dark in the darks and lights
Wonders truest of the class "A" "M" "Z"

Lords and kings seems the "A" of noblest ilk
Shark bears the realm and at subjects deify
Swaying to brim in vice and a crave insane
To the perpetual wailing of the odds and sods

Hypocrite a duo; the Dolphin and the Whale
In pretence, drowned so to creator's dismay
For fancy and lavish make wrap the brethren tithes
In a baleful quest, the Good Book a handy shield

Yet a figure in bribery soaked to core
He injustice gulps as wine glassed with frost
Office for venture he batters as patties and cakes
In khaki kit of crook the Sword Fish salutes of shame

Class "A" yet anew sly folks behold 
The Marlin and Salmon in cruelness bloom
In them confides king Shark in the Ill will rule
Brashly, country cake devoured at the melt of rue

In west coast to east corruption as thunder strike
For cheese and nut swaps weal of the realm
Power, for offsprings greedily they pluck
To barn of dissipation the future ferries with fear

For class "M" the new norm they embrace
In mess muss, foolish thrivers the Flounder and Halibut
Path to bliss had they won or bid to lead
Palmy days the day would halt not gift

This way, the "A" way dire beat the odds and sods
Dirge, a rhythmic regular rhyme with grief they wabble
Its joyous melody they hoof as songs dear of old
With blood for tear in a flow unceasing

Now becomes what of the least in realm?
Class "Z" wear pity of optimism print
Silver lining dims in their sight so sombre
The Prawn Sardine and Shrimp hope solely for good

The Fingerlings, mantle and honour hence bestow
Should from torpor rouse and snooze then cast
Should revolt wheel they seize or choose to stir
Feat to cheer shall ousting be of the beasts.
