The Reason It Is There Poem by Diane Kordas

The Reason It Is There

Rating: 5.0

I said I wouldn't,
But they got to me...
The fighting,
Being ignored,
Unloved,
Hated.
I have scars not only on the inside,
But the outside too.
Thanks to them.
I wanted to talk,
Saw you were sad tried to help,
You hurt me instead.
Saying you hate me,
Guess you'll never want to talk to me now,
When you see the blood,
Drop from my wrist to the ground,
Just know you're
THE REASON IT IS THERE!
