The Rebel Warlord (Part 4) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Rebel Warlord (Part 4)

Rating: 5.0

Tap root of Iroko
Firmly secured
In heart of earth
Guarded all around
By massive solid soil
Unaffected, unconcerned
To the sun's carnage
Thousands fall to the right
Another to the left
Untouched warlord matches on
Selfish interest the propelling force
All may care to die
To satisfy one man's ambition
