The Release Of The Eagles Poem by Truth Osumareton Egbe

The Release Of The Eagles

The Release of the Eagles

We have been together for a while
Soared across mountains; walked a lot of miles
We shared our greatest memories together
Learnt to be there for each other
But every hour we were together prepared us for the days we will be apart
We learnt that like eagles we must live our nests and touch the sky
Eagles were made to fly

Today, we leave the comfort of our nests
We would soar in various directions
We would go to the north, south, east and west
But we will always keep in mind all we learnt; all the instructions

The sky is large, there's a spot for each of us
At the right place, at the right time, we will fulfil purpose
