The Return Poem by Lesie Bassham

The Return

as i laid down for the the sky goes suddenly ablaze when i looked out my window i was totally amazed. from out of the sky comes a flash brighter than the light of day i thought for a instance in my fright everything had been swept away.but to my surprise and that of many others a figure begins to appear.and with a voice as loud as thunder he says neal down as you come near. my children i have returned to take the faithful home. those of you who were untrue i leave here on your own. i told you time and time again one day i would return and when ive taken my people away your world will begin too burn. then you'll begin to suffer and see what you've lived for. but at the end of seven years satan will be no more. ill lock him in chains and cast him away his servants will be punished as well. with a single wave of my hand i; ll destorey what you know as hell. then my children will be free to come back to the world again.walking streets paved with gold away from the harm of sin.so come my children nows the time for us to go away like ive promised for so long ive returned for you today..
