The Richest Poverty Poem by Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu

The Richest Poverty

Rich with money and upstairs?
Very good.

Not rich. With no upstairs?
It hurts.

But, very rich upstairs?
Very, very good.

Very rich in money,
With multi-mansions,
But poor upstairs?
Very, very bad.

Not rich in money.
No Kobo left.
And no upstairs too?
Very, very, very bad.
For self.
For society.

Because wealth without wisdom
Is the richest poverty.
And the richest poverty without wealth
Is hazardous.
A walking time and space ogbunigwe bomb.
