The Road Poem by Jazmine Staples

The Road

I was walking along this broke road we call life.
All bruise up, then you came along.
You took my hand and told me everything would be okay.
You help me, you loved me.
My bruised began to heal and my road got smoother.
Along the way we have a few bumps now and then but
it started to rain and you finally let my hand go.
You stood there and watch me fall.
Didn't care to help.
Soo you just fade away.
I was left laying there in the rain.
It rain for a long time.
Evenvengutllly I got up and started to walk again.
I search for you, call out your name but you were no where to me found.
My road got more bumper than ever and the sky stay clouded and gray.
Im still walking on this road. It has gotten a little smoother.
The sky a litter clearer but I still wonder were you are.
You came, stolen my heard and left.
But yet the road still goes on.
