The Road Less Travelled Poem by Utkarsh Trivedi

The Road Less Travelled

Rating: 5.0

Travelling on a road with surroundings so hazy
Got entangled in a situation absolutely crazy
Searching for the destination unknown to me
Hopping from one place to another like a honey bee

During the journey reached a decisive phase
The road diverged ahead in two opposing ways
One was the path chosen by all fellow travelers
The one which was straight and without any interruptions

The other was crisscross and full of unknown dangers
No one took that road sensing the likely troubles
Ambitions high and extra ordinary deeds to achieve
With a deep faith I took the road less travelled

The easier path taken by many
Shall not lead to my ultimate destiny
It shall not fulfill the purpose of my existence
That is why I took the road less travelled

The path chosen shall have many difficulties
Shall test my grit and all my abilities
At the end of the path shall lie infinite possibilities
That is why I took the road less travelled
