The girlwho seeing me from afar
Usedto curl up her curly hair,
And to make her face in thatcovered;
You Admit this oryou do differ,
She was my beloved: I still love her.-1
She never ever cameclose to me;
But shyly smiled at me as she'd see;
Her smile came from a distance but,
Can any one tell where dwelt she?
I know she's ever in my heart's cavity.-2
Her face always was aglowingbright,
But whenexposed to dreary sun light,
Drops of sweat looked splendid white;
And it made appearance of the sight
Of adarkheaven in a starry night.-3
Remember, as I were to go near her
Her face used to redden like aflower
Thelittle nostrils blew ceaseless air,
And she would tumble like a toddler,
To often fall down with a quiver.-4
She never wrote a love letter or a chit;
And if with my finger I'd make a hint
She'd break to a laughter quite upbeat;
Then turn round andmake retreat,
And somethingon way she could hit.-5
Into my dreams she often came
Where I was in the king's domain;
Even sat along mebut all was vain
For as I touched her with my hand
She did hastily walk away again. -6
Into that kingdom that existed not,
Where none cared who was cold or hot,
And I was the Prince, asleep in my fort
She frequented my dreams with a fraught:
Mybeloved queen I never forgot.-7
