The Ruin Poem by Jess Will

The Ruin

Rating: 5.0

This heart of mine
Keeps begging me
To stop the abuse
Too much pain
To endure
Till it's too tired
To beat for life

This empty thought of mine
Keeps screaming
To be filled
But what could I feed
The hunger inside
When there's no wisdom
For me to give

I'm caged in stupidity
And I refuse to see
The truth within
I'm ruined by denial
Covered with my sins

An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A good introspection indeed. Thanks for sharing.
