The Sailors Redemption Poem by grace mariner

The Sailors Redemption

Rating: 2.5

Acts of piracy rarely go unnoticed.
Your name etched in their black books...
a castaway put ashore as punishment.
A changeling forced to run the gauntlet while bearing the thieves cat just to erase that name!
And you go off on another tack.
But oh how those halcyon days trick and cajole us into a false sense of security!
But like all good sailors and good men you keep a weather eye open to guard those three treasures from the storm.
And with the years comes resolution...
we do what we must.
And with resolution comes realization...
all sin is sin.
And with realization comes redemption...
the pirate knows at last what to make amends for.
The sins of the father is a bedtime tale.
The quality of the man cancels many a sin and grants new life to the albatross
