The Santcuary Of Life Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Santcuary Of Life

Do not mangle the tree that the bears you fruit,
For it is your lifeline to the inner sanctuary of life,
Do not tread on the words that are written in the books
For they are your guide out of the past and into future,

Connect with the road that cries out from the weight of use
And though many may have traversed this way, it may not be the path of truth.
Mentors have cautioned the weary on their mindless decisions,
Yet many do not take heed to the warning and continue to falter.

The light is not always the way, the darkness can settle souls that are burdened.
Black is not always bad, and the white sometimes blinds us from true reality
Be brave and fight through the thickest of hell to reach the final goal.
Traverse the river called Stycx and block out all that attempts to penetrate your will.

There is an end to all that we start; there is a place that we must all ascend to.
The sanctuary of life calls for us all; it is our final destination, our destiny.
Fulfill the needs and wants on this path; experience all that confronts you.
Knowledge will guide you and you will be one with yourself, with life, with……

REB (MAY 2012) I am on the path to the sanctuary of life.
