The Sculpture - Poem by Mandy MMR

The smile upon the artist face,
Trust me, it shows no digrace.
The sculpture is finished now,
All anyone can say is 'Wow! '.
It glistens in a hall of fame.
The sculpture will never be tame.
People stop to wonder how,
While the artist takes the smallest bow.
People see it is a work of art,
They know it is just the beginning, the start.

    Sculpture is a 'touching' thing
    Dimensions that the artist brings
    Unlike pen and pencil creations
    That depend on imagination.

Sad to say that it requires space
    And a special resting place
So that it can be enjoyed
    And viewed.

'See it as a work of art'
But also, as something from the heart.
