The Sea The Sun And Me Poem by Aminath Neena

The Sea The Sun And Me

For miles and miles
Of turquoise emerald
No living being resides
Only us three assembled
I breathe in the balmy freshness
Of the tropical saline breeze
Feel the silky subtle coolness
Of the seductive plethora beneath
It's ripples silently caressing
Circling my torso, sending shivers
Like a lover gently coaxing
"Stay! Don't leave just yet", whispers
And for hours WE sway together
Making memories to last forever
