The Serendipity Field Poem by vince gullaci

The Serendipity Field

If I could choose
a burial ground
I'd rather a field
of freshly mown grass
bordered by lavender hedges
for colour and perfume
and my headstone
a giant purple jacaranda
in full bloom.
