The Shortest Short Stories Poem by Joshua Bantum

The Shortest Short Stories

The Shortest Short Stories:
l.
The Empty Rose Field:
A vast rose field once went unexplored by all humanity.
Eventually it was discovered, and plowed through to be replaced by agriculture more fruitful.
The sky, mournful of it’s lost muse, closed it’s eyes forever, weeping until it drowned itself.

ll.
The Silent Lover:
The focal point of universal love became centre between the glance of two strangers.
Naturally they became married without question, without words, similar to magnets not discussing their obvious attraction.
On her death bed she lye on her lovers chest, letting his heartbeat overtake her own, this spoke to her more than every word she’d ever spoke in her entire life.
lll.
The Closet Room:
This Child was born in Paradise.
Then this boy was raised on Olympus.
Now this man lives in a closet room.

llll.
The Shortest Short of the Short Stories.
Against thee impalpable wind was pushed a leaf broken from it’s stem, the puss from both ends dried to a scab, and not a tear was wasted for this death; this is why humanity will succeed in it’s failure to not repeat what has already happen repeatedly.
