The Shy Fledgling
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Outside the nest
Down the subway
Where cross two streets
Lurking in feebleness of light
A blossoming face
Smiling a broken smile
Didn't mind having fledgling wings
Was willing to fly away
And as if from an accretion disk
Of dust and rocks
Moons form (Passers-by)
Swirl around a fledgling planet
Of haggard bones and desperate eyes
Kidnapped by evil perpetrators
And trapped in a web of evil trait
Lies here a child in anguish
Oh before God, it's an abomination
Of human rights it deprives
When will this world open up their eyes
Before another fateful fall on another fledgling

Child trafficking is abominable! Before the fledglings become strong enough to fly away to the open sky, they are stolen from their nests and are left in miserable circumstances! This violation of human dignity and rights have to be strongly condemned! A powerful write Deepak!
