All talents woke as a gushing sunrise
北美的初夜
The beginning of North America evening
万籁俱静
In absolute silence
寒冬之夜
A night of cold winter
使多伦多的街道商场和社区
Made the streets shopping malls and neighborhood communities
过早地打烊
All closed too early

星星点点的餐馆
Restaurants scattered as evening star
也没有了春夏的热闹
The bustling of spring and summer is absent
旧国之过年备战时节
The time for this Chinese New Year in old country
尽管华人商家想极力渲染
Although Chinese merchandisers trying their best to elaborate
也远没有旧国哪怕是边区小镇的喧腾
Incomparable with the uproar of even the remote town in old country
圣诞和阳历新年
Christmas and solar-based New Year
主宰了北美的华人社区
Dominated Chinese communities in North America
而旧国的热闹
While the bustling hustling of older country
