Sitting in silence now, the Gods weep,
For love not consumed,
Their sons and daughters wisdom not heard,
Battles fought and lost now memory. YEs God does weep when so much of terrible things happen among us. how can human beings be so cruel. this poem has great meaning in the context of the terror in Paris. tony
