The Similarities Of Our World Poem by Gerry Legister

The Similarities Of Our World

What of our future state?
Gallivanting around the pretty lake,
Undignified fate hinged in everything we hate,
The similarities of our world disintegrate.

A bird passing; sing with presumptive screech
National tweets upon knowledge less speech,
Wondering words and other meanings
Fooling around with important feelings.

Hatred for other wonderful creatures
Going around subjects of intriguing polices,
Compare the unimaginable future
And try to understanding the present culture.

Sunbathing where declined of other world stood
They dream of lasting pleasure that wasn't good.
The similarities of our world in latter times
Portrays destruction if we choose the wrong kinds.
A world we are watching and wish to define
Identified by the same historical line.
