The Snake Charmer Poem by Sydney L

The Snake Charmer

Rating: 5.0

There once was a snake
Who lived by a lake
And danced in the light of the moon.

The snake was quite sad
For moonlight he had
But music for dancing he did not.

There once was a mouse
Who would watch from her house
As the snake danced the night away.

Every night he would pray
That someone would play
A song for him to dance to.

One night the mouse took pity
And played him a ditty
On her piano so he could dance.

And dance for her he did
And play for him she did
Under the light of the moon.
