I come when I am summoned
By the people of Above
From my home beneath all else
Where no souls know no love

My eyes are dead
But I'm alive
Yet what I am
Remains inside

Death comes softly
But not weakly
It walks quietly between the trees
You can't hear it coming

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You've left me alone again.
The sky is empty, and very dark,
Where have you gone my friend?

My mother sits knitting at the fire
The flames cast her face to the shadows
The click of her needles
And the chirp of the crickets
...

I come from a land
A land far away
I live on the sea
I live in a bay
...

There once was a snake
Who lived by a lake
And danced in the light of the moon.
...

The light seeps through the cracks
In the blinds in my room
It doesn't feel warm though
It's the color of a sand dune
...

All the people I've ever met,
Think they're different from another,
But I can see right through them,
To me they're all the same.
...

Tell her I wasn't scared
When I walked into the night
And the demons of red and orange
Burned with hellfire's light
