The Sound Of Being Alone - Poem by T.J. Daniels

I don't like the sound
of being alone.

It's like
without the

The sound of one hand clapping
or an actor
without an act.

Life without breath
the morning without dew.

The ocean with no water
or me without you.

I love the way this poem expresses being alone without the one you want.
