The Spade Poem by Emerson Navaya

The Spade

Rating: 4.0

A day never goes dark before we hear you
That you have claimed young and old
Families and relatives disillusioned

This scapel really dries up faith
Prayers and fastings have tried
Clergymen voice becomes hoarse

Authorities spend a day long
Monitoring the drivers but none to expectations
Death toll still registers

Burying live road accident casualties
Has become our day-to-day routine
God take over this stubborn gods
