The Sparrows Climb So Lithely Poem by Brett White

The Sparrows Climb So Lithely

The Sparrows climb the trees so lithely,
As the sunset falls upon me peacefully.
The Sun's Rays always warm me inside,
The most peaceful feeling won't be denied.
And as I leave the place that I love,
I raise my eyes to God above,
And say 'thank you for all your Graces',
And I hope for peace within all the spaces,
Which fill me thus. Fragile is the way
Of life, destiny, and each day,
Forever-gone are all of our yesterdays.
So abide the voice inside which says,
'Love each day like it is your very last,
And remember, never live in the past.'
