The Speech And... Poem by Majid Gaggi

The Speech And...

(If speech is silver
The silence is golden)
Words stumble in my mouth
And my tongue cannot move
What poetry will do?
And what after this silence
Only death the patio
Letters and words stumble
And comes to speak
Oh you, do not speak
Being silence is safer and sounder
I was not a blind
So I do not see or have not seen
And if I tried to say a…
I will not utter a single letter
I'm not speechless
(Your tongue is your horse— if you take care of it, it takes care of you; if you betray it, betrays it will.)
Everything became
Symmetrical and equal
There is no longer a difference between
Good and Evil…
Cold and heat...
Sea and land...
Joy and oppression...
Anxiety and patience...
Life and death…
Bustle and calm...
Love and hate…
Honesty and lying...
War and peace
Meeting and parting...
Blocked and allowed...

.......................

.......................

Do not think because of fear
I did not talk...
Not so, never
Because my silence
It is the speech by it self
It is a major dilemma
No solution for it at all
The puzzling puzzle and vague
Silence is hurt
And speech as well as
Is greatest suffer
In our time and our day
