The Spell You Cast... - Poem by indira babbellapati

... and when the invisible
and the indivisible forces
of all the universe connived
to pull me into your spell
least did i think the spell cast
would alter everything
that concerns me including my self
and when i sat in the silent
terrain of my being last evening
least did i expect the planets to
come down to whisper into my ears
the tidings you've conveyed...
touched by you, they looked
resplendent on an otherwise
pale lonely sky...

they sang me a lullaby
in a chorus that i slip into
a sleep sweetly cuddled
in your arms...

A beautiful write. Rich imagery of the heavens (all the universe) conniving to cast a spell of good omen... very intense emotion. Enjoy the read & thanx for sharing.
