The Spring Goddess? Poem by james watkin

The Spring Goddess?

She walks in fine garb;
A vestment of light.
Gauzier guaze; sun-silked through.
Life's upsweetener;
Burgeoning promise.
In bright garden-hearted clue.

Does that named lustre
And fame, resplendent
Dawn on me; and not undewed!
Tis yours! Subtle transfer
Of worthy critique!
Of elite stamp renewed.
