The Spring Of Divinity Poem by VINITHA ANAND

The Spring Of Divinity

Rating: 5.0

Yonder amidst the sloping hills
Is seen the glitter of oil lamps,
Flickering in the monsoon breeze,
To lighten up the deity within.

As I watch the humble folks
Worship in the quietness of night;
A thousand lamps enter my heart
Bringing heaven into earth.

The most simple is simply
The simplest remedy,
For human to reach
The untold mystery.

Offering to the unseen deity
A petal from my heart
I pray with yearning heart
To be enveloped in thy love
