The Stalker Poem by Alexander Foald

The Stalker

Look at me, girl
While I’m standing next to you
I want to tell you something
That bothered me a long time since

I want to know your name,
But I hardly can speak against the shame
I want to hear you talking and see your smile
Yet it’s hard for me to throw jokes around

I want to get you out sometime
Maybe to a movie or a little dine
I want to take you to the park
Where we can spend some time to talk

I want to know if you had a boyfriend
So it ain’t my fault if we’re only friends
I want to know your preferences
So I can end it with your birthday references

I want to hold your hand
While we’re standing next to each other like this
I want you to know that I’ll keep you safe
Either from the rainfalls or anything you afraid of

And another time slips by
Once again I wave the chance good bye
No matter how long I’m waiting here alone
She never knew who’s sitting in the cone
