The Star Poem by Dr Samir Rammal

The Star

THE STAR

Through the midnight murky sky I see
My star shines and faints as if a gleam.
I live in the sense it creates,
And wonder: Spring is it or autumn
That has come at last!

She tickles my psyche then quickens the pace
Through the un-trodden murky sky's ways
And says………
I am the mystery you call;
A parent of your happiness and joy;
A partner in your sorrows;
I may preserve or over-sway
What might have been and might be again.
"Listen to and have faith
In what a friend or an enemy says"

I wonder- what she says!
Wonder and wonder in vain.
Upon my honor and faith
She says nothing but the truth.
