Patrick Monamodi
While a lie has options,
truth remains—
for there is only one way to stand upright,
yet there are many ways to fall.
Truth is a stillness
that goes beyond the limitations of the senses,
a clarity found
amidst all the noise.
When a lie grows louder than the truth,
it does not become truth;
it only becomes a louder lie.
For truth is not authenticated by volume,
and falsehood is not redeemed by applause.
