The Store Poem by grandmaster JAY

The Store

I never knew stupidity before
That was before I worked at the store.
People buy 2 carts full bottom to top
Enough to make my head go pop.
They have reusable bags they forget in the car
And there’s a kid in an aisle with his head in a jar.
Organic dog food and 3 dollar water a plus
What’s wrong with these people, are they nuts?
I have found money on the floor and cut a bike off the rack
Before they came, wanting it back.
What’s wrong with these people, did they leave they’re brain at home
Having they’re skull occupied with foam?
Maybe it’s just me, and I’m to blame.
No, it’s just the way they are; they will always be the same.
