The Storm Poem by Alexander Thomas

The Storm

Rating: 5.0

She's always there,
Moving and swirling in the air,
The dark clouds looming,
Crashing waves booming,
There's nowhere to hide,
From the rising tide,
The gale finds me,
Blowing out the raging sea,
It dances and sings,
But foul weather it brings,
In the night still grasping,
Against the window rasping,
Powerful it thrusts,
With relentless gusts,
Restless without you,
You're like a storm blowing through,
My heart won't let go,
These winds still blow!
