that storm last night
was a matter of life and death
for both of us
we could not sleep
we clung to our hands
we keep each other's bodies
and for the worst hours
we intertwined like the vines
the morning after
there was peace and harmony.
i like that storm last night
it would have been perfect for us if it did not stop
