The Storm Of Tears Poem by Sean C. Harrison

The Storm Of Tears

Is this tempest forever?
Is the how it never ends
Finding one forsaken,
Bereft of all good friends?

As life passes and the well of tears swells
Is there one who sees a new horizon
Who its immortal joys tells?

How can one know? How does one see
Amid crystalline droplets flowing free?
It is a life where these surely come.
There have moored many and made their home.

But the tempest cools and as life rolls by
So do our myriad questions "why? "
And there we live again to face
Another daunting rung of the race.
But we should know that all come see
Life is woe and tears are free.

And though we cry we shall be comforted
In time's embrace when the storm has ended.
