The Substance Of My Silence Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

The Substance Of My Silence

Rating: 5.0

It's not the voice of Silence
That draws me closer
To the heart of existence
It's the purity of Silence
That drowns my thoughts
Submerging my being
Into the fabric of nothingness
The substance of Silence
Is not found in speech or thoughts
The substance of Silence
Is not imagined
Or manufactured
The substance of Silence
Emerges from within
Fully dressed
In a veil of wisdom
The substance of Silence
Seeks not my purity
Just my presence
Inside the leaf of existence
It's possible
That I am the chlorophyll
And Silence is the Light
Together we are the fabric
That focuses life onto the beacon of hope
