The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*** Poem by Sumita Jetley

The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F***

In the city's heart, where time flies fast,
Lived David, whose days in a blur passed.
Clocks ticked, phones chimed, in endless spin,
A life full of noise, yet empty within.

In a park's quiet corner, under a sky so grand,
Whirled Khalil, a dervish, with God's love at hand.
His dance, a serene spectacle, amidst life's loud fuss,
A symbol of peace, a lesson for us.

David watched, his heart in a stir,
Seeing life's chaos and tranquility confer.
Khalil's words, soft yet bold,
Spoke of a truth deeply old:

'Not all matters deserve your care,
Choose wisely, with a heart bare.
For in the dance of life, serene and wild,
Lies the secret, to be reconciled.'

Inspired, David found a new way to tread,
Prioritizing what filled his heart, not dread.
In the dervish's dance, he saw life's true art:
To spin with joy, letting the unnecessary depart.
