The Suffering Has Come Resembling The Capsizing Boat!
The rope of love is severed! The proximity
Of the virtuous people has dwindled!
The bond of friendship has loosened!
You look into your self inside!
What is there to gain for your living?
The suffering has come resembling
The boat capsizing in the deep sea
As and when you lose your youthfulness!

நேரிசை வெண்பா
நட்புநார் அற்றன நல்லாரும் அஃகினார்
அ'ற்'புத் தளையும் அவிழ்ந்தன; - உட்காணாய்;
வாழ்தலின் ஊதியம் என்னுண்டாம்? வந்ததே
ஆழ்கலத் தன்ன கலி.12
இளமை நிலையாமை, நாலடியார்
