The Sun Has Returned
Today the sun finally broke through
It was a welcome sight
We finally got to see
The sun so very bright
The last few weeks have been
Cloudy and overcast
Never really knowing
How long the gloom would last
But actually to feel the sun
Warm upon my face
Always reminds me
Why I moved to this place
So, here's hoping that tomorrow
Will be as bright as today
Here's hoping from now on
The sun has returned to stay
