The Sunrise(1995) - Poem by Lillian B. Rose

In the dark reaches of the early morning light
Amongst the shadows I walk
To see something artistic, amazing and true
Nature's wake-up call.

Light creeps in to take over the darkness
Like foes in a never-ending battle
But still the light is too powerful for the darkness
And the sun lights up our world
