The Sunset Poem by Hazel June Hooper

The Sunset

Rating: 5.0

No artist's hand could paint a picture
So wonderful to see,
No masterpiece as priceless
As the one in front of me;
No brush could do it justice,
No palette have the hue -
The colours not of this world
Fiery red to blue.
A panorama of colour
Unfolds in beautiful array,
No canvas could portray
This close of day!
The sun dips low,
Shed's it's orange glow,
As if it knows
The world will lose it's magic
When it goes.
The painter's hands I cannot see,
But the artistry of God
Is everywhere with me.
