The Symphony Of The Sea Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Symphony Of The Sea

Rating: 4.8

Listen to the symphonic waves of the sea
The sound that soothes the pulse and the nerves
Listen to the ebb and flow of the ocean waves
The fringes look attractive, sweet and shiny.

I'm hypnotized in this concert of memories
Where I slept like a dead doll on the canapé
My aunt sang like the siren of the quartier
Hitting melodious notes with great ease.

Listen to the ebb and flow of the nightly waves
Listen to the fleeing echo of the snoring sailors
I dream and I drown like the turtle in the well.

Listen to the mystical and thymic ocean's waves
On the lawn, with the peacocks, I saw my aunt dancing
In time, my body was drowning and my soul was wandering.
