The System Poem by Pious Nyomiro

The System

Where art thou mercy?
When the righteous suffer
Man ought to know
When will the meek inherit this earth?
The Promised Land much sought
Of milk and honey has become
But a promised land
Wherein lies the belief
Is man greatest sin believing?

Where are you Justice?
Song cry has become of thee
The oppressed
When will it be enough?
When will earth run-red
be too much for eyes to see
When will it be God's will?
Is heaven we're fighting for?
Is the tantamount different from heathens?
Where is the armor for this?
Is the religion the cause of
All these legions?
Is the human race a race for humans?
To where? And for what?
Will there be a bailiff?
Will the objection be overruled?
Will pandemonium rule?
What lies thereon?
