The Tawang Monastery Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Tawang Monastery

The Tawang Monastery
At the foothills
So full of exotic greeney and vegetation
But with the golden statue of Buddha
Overlooking us sermons and gospels
Telling a different saga of Buddha and Buddhism,
Buddhist preachings and teachings
Travelled far and delivered,
How old is it,
Who established it
Under the canopy of the blue skies
And against the backdrop of the hills?
