The Things We Take For Granted. Poem by April Hester

The Things We Take For Granted.

Rating: 0.5

Things we take for granted.

Is the things that we think will always be.

If you try to look for it, you may not see.

From just the sound of wind in the trees.

To the sunset in the distant sky.

Stars that shine bright in the night sky.

The rain that falls on a spring morning.

To the people we meet that change our lifes.

Sometimes not knowing the impact they make.

A child's Imagination, and laughter.

To the life we live.

Things we take for granted.

Is the things that we think will always be.

To sweet mom and dad, that have all ways been there.

Your husband or wife, there love and care

To your children that give you purpose and joy.

We should cherish everything we have in the time we have it.

Things we take for granted.

Is the things we think will always be.

April, what a sweet, heartfelt poem! There are so many things we take for granted as your poem brought out, and we feel they will always be. The rain, the stars, sunsets, our family, how right you are. All these things should be cherished. Loved the poem!
