The Thrill Of Love Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Thrill Of Love

Midnight, and church bells chime
all the love songs seem sublime.
'Dearest, bring to me your smile
let me read your mind awhile.
If this is love ~ then tell me.
Garlands bring to please me.
Heaven knows the feeling grows
more vibrant with each day...
when I hear the church bells ring
my soul ignites, my heart takes wing
and more and more you are to me
the joy of spring, my evensong...
my everything.'
