The Tick Of A Clock Poem by Liam ó Comáin

The Tick Of A Clock

The only sound
Is the tick of a clock

You are reading a novel
I am writing verse

You enter the author's mind
While I enter memory

Yet our hearts are one

Requiring each other
As the tick requires silence
