The Timeless Grid Poem by Michele C. Messina Long

The Timeless Grid

So many regard “always and forever” as a fairytale clause,
Yet our folk unearthed the abandoned blueprint long ago.

Love need not breathe solely in the present
To find it's spirit totally frozen as memories of the past.

Observe with all your enlightenment of possibilities, my children,
While I tutor you in the understanding of “always and forever.”

In my confused adolescence I could not visualize
This energy to conceive the grid within my narrow reality.

Yet, I’ve practiced it for years now and can recreate the method
To launch love’s energy out into the morrow.

Dispatch your energy out in degrees along the grid of your making,
Toward the unwavering outer reach of Eternity.

On the first far grid, send your love for to yourself
To support you in moments when you believe to be forsaken.

On a farther lattice, hurl your love for some unknown
To discover for themselves, in their need.

A few grids further, send your love to a season
Where you might find yourself incapable of giving fully the love someone deserves.

There you can grab hold and draw it back into your spirit,
Permitting you to fulfill the promise of love.

Onto yet a further component of your grid send your vow of an unmatched love,
For others to pull back in when missing you after you’ve traveled past their arms reach.

They will find the way to draw your love energy back to them merely by conjuring up thoughts of you,
then thinking your love back inward, toward their own love energy.

The totality of your promise to love them always and forever,
Is this day so deep and strong within your own Spirit.

This was a commitment you were unprepared to make in the past.
I could not conceive how to hold to your word. Now you can sense and understand.

Tomorrow we will study the formula for 'happily ever after.'
Then likewise you may add that to your ever-evolving, limitless reality.
