The Tortoise Or The Hare? Poem by Laurence Overmire

The Tortoise Or The Hare?

OK, so the tortoise won the race
Slow and ponderous, plodding along
But let me tell you

The hare
Flying through the underbrush
Stopping here, resting there
Having a brew with his mates

May have been a loser
But he sure had a lot more
Fun.
